Visitor registration is now open for Vision 2017, the UK’s premier show spanning the built environment profession, offering industry intelligence on products, materials, trends and technology across the market. Aimed at architects, designers, specifiers and their clients, Vision provides an international focus for innovative products and solutions, bringing together thousands of industry professionals for two days of learning and conducting business.

The programme and exhibition is CPD certified and centred around three main themes: Materials Innovations, Technological Insight and Architectural & Design Evolution. The free-toattend event will take place at Olympia from 6-7 June 2017, featuring established companies alongside the brightest start-ups. In 2017, Vision will host of a series of international partners from across Europe.

Representatives from Belgium, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Latvia and the Czech Republic will exhibit at the event through a collection of pavilions, each representing a different member state. Live demonstrations and networking will provide opportunities to meet and exchange ideas with our continental counterparts. The exhibitors at Vision cover a range of products, materials and solutions, from intricate stone screens to virtual reality software. Major architectural practices from the UK and abroad will take part in a talks programme designed to push the architectural debate in unexpected and exciting directions.

Zaha Hadid Architects will unveil a new material inspired by the fashion industry for use in architecture, while Woods Bagot will demonstrate how they are rethinking interior spaces for a future dominated by the private-rented sector. From international shores, UNStudio will reveal the findings of a new piece of research that explores the impact of the circular economy on the built environment, and rising star Benjamin Garcia Saxe will reveal how sustainable architecture is being tackled in tropical climates such as Costa Rica.

This year, Vision are proud to announce key partnerships across professional and cultural sectors of the industry in the UK. In addition to the exhibition, Vision 2017 will present a series of talks and events in collaboration with the RIBA, BRE, the London Festival of Architecture and New London Architecture. Representing the best products, services and events in the country, these organisations demonstrate the truly multifaceted nature of the built environment. Elliot Gard, Event Director, said: “We are very excited about Vision’s potential to shape the built environment industry by bringing together the biggest names and the brightest talent under one roof. Our aim is to ensure that our exhibitors and visitors can use Vision as their annual meeting place, to exchange ideas and make key connections. This year’s partners will help us extend our reach further across the industry and host talks and events that are relevant to today’s practitioners.”
