New warehouse space at Reynaers Birmingham HQ boosts capacity @ReynaersLimited


Leading aluminium systems company Reynaers has benefited from a brand new warehouse facility at its new premises in Birmingham.

More than £6 million has been invested by Reynaers into the new HQ in Hollymoor Way, Northfield, thanks to ongoing success in the UK market.

Hugh Moss, Head of Marketing at Reynaers, said: “The new warehouse has meant that our stock holding capacity has increased by almost 150%. This has allowed us to stock a more comprehensive range of systems and colours, reducing lead times to customers and increased our offerings in terms of stock.”

Teams of dedicated staff from leading housebuilder Taylor Wimpey have come together to complete a two-day challenge across the Lake District for charity.

The fourth annual Taylor Wimpey Challenge, which took place on Friday 19th and Saturday 20th May, saw almost 400 challengers, representing the developer’s head office and regional businesses, flock to the mountainous region of Cumbria to compete in one of two special contests.

Money raised from the challenges will go to the Youth Adventure Trust, a charity that helps vulnerable young people gain access to opportunities for personal development through a range of outdoor learning experiences, as well as other charities chosen by the individual regional businesses.

Green light for student accommodation development in Newcastle @tpbennettllp

Nixon Property has received planning permission from Newcastle City Council for a new, 10-storey student accommodation development on St James’ Boulevard in the city centre designed by tp bennett.

The 8,350 sq m building will replace a group of single and two storey L-shaped buildings currently on the site, and provide 246 bedrooms in a mix of studios and cluster apartments of three, five and six bedrooms.  A number of open space areas will be provided together with an improved hard and soft landscaped public realm located along the St James’ Boulevard frontage and a terrace area on the first floor overlooking the open space to the rear. There is also a gym on the first floor alongside a cinema room, study room and laundry facilities.

RGB Building Supplies raised over £635 for Children’s Hospice South West during its #UptheVolume event to celebrate Children’s Hospice Week on Friday 26th May.

The week, organised by Together for Short Lives, encouraged people to ‘amp’ up the awareness of children’s palliative care, so staff from RGB’s showed their support by adding neon colours and funky hair to their outfits for the day.
