Checkatrade set to sponsor the new series of The Walking Dead @Checkatrade

The UK’s leading online resource for trusted tradespeople, Checkatrade have secured sponsorship for the new series of the multi-award-winning drama The Walking Dead. The popular show returns for its eighth season with 16 brand-new episodes beginning on 22 October in the USA and a day later in the UK. Airing on FOX in the UK, this series begins the 100th episode of the show which has been a hit with audiences all over the world since it first hit screens in 2010.

Checkatrade’s television sponsorship does not end there though. They have also recently become sponsors of ITV’s addictive gameshow Tipping Point: Lucky Stars. Hosted by Ben Shephard, the new series began on 3 September and will run for eight weeks seeing a host of celebrities taking on the Tipping Point machine. Airing every Sunday, the series has seen Spice Girls star Melanie C, The X-Factor judge Louis Walsh and Strictly Come Dancing professional Anton Du Beke take part.

The business will also continue their sponsorship of the American drama series Lethal Weapon as it returns for its second series. The prime-time Friday night show is returning for a massive 22-week run starting on 12th January and continuing throughout 2018. Checkatrade also sponsored the programme during its first series which aired in the UK earlier this year on ITV.

With the Checkatrade logo featuring before the shows begin and during all the advertisement breaks, their sponsorship of these programmes will help to expand the company’s reach. Between them, these shows regularly attract millions of viewers.
