COINS ANNOUNCES PARTNERS FOR 2016 CONSTRUCTION GRAND CHALLENGE @COINSGlobal

Construction Industry Solutions (COINS), a market leader in enterprise software for the construction industry, has announced its sponsorship partners for this year’s Construction Industry Grand Challenge. This is a global construction innovation competition that challenges students, entrepreneurs and industry members to share new ideas that could positively impact the construction industry and our society.

Barratt Developments Plc, Bouygues UK, Comfort Systems USA, DSA Technologies, JBKnowledge, Laing O’Rourke, Singularity University, SoftServe, Taylor Wimpey, Progress, Fulcro and Crossform Media have been named as partners of the competition ahead of its 16th December 2016 entry deadline.

Robert Brown, Chief Executive of COINS, said: “We are delighted to be working with such an excellent group of partners and would like to thank each of them for supporting this year’s Construction Industry Grand Challenge. Having the backing and expertise of such established companies who share our commitment to future innovation, is what will make this year’s challenge such a huge success.”

Speaking of the announcement, Hermione Crease one of last year’s winners, said “The competition is an unbelievable opportunity for students, graduates and entrepreneurs to showcase themselves, their ideas and the organisations they represent to some of the leading construction-related organisations in the world. The support of COINS and its partners has helped to take our idea to the next stage.”

Working with leading construction companies, home builders, universities, member’s organisations and incubators across the UK and USA, COINS is offering entrants the chance to secure cash prizes, professional experience and R&D funding opportunities with leading industry players.

Following an entry deadline of Friday 16 December 2016, finalists will be selected and invited to the Construction Innovation Conference & Exhibition to present their ideas. From that process, the winners and runners up will be announced at the Grand Challenge Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony, held on the evening of the same day in London on Wednesday 8th February 2017.
