The Dundalk based equipment hire specialists have taken delivery of an innovative new lighting set manufactured by Generac Mobile Products Limited. The MT1 mini-light is the latest tower light to leave the Generac production line and is set to become a popular product within the light equipment rental markets in Ireland and across Europe.
MT1 mini-light has a host of features and benefits each conceived to deliver safe, bright lighting for construction sites, outside events and highway projects. With its manually operated 5.5 metre mast fitted with 4 no. 400watt metal halide lamps, this self-generating lighting tower is ideally suited for illuminating small and medium sized areas. As an option the MT1 can also be fitted with 4 no. 150 watt LED energy saving lamps.
Commenting on this purchase, Dromad Hire’s Seamus Byrne said, “Whilst the demand for our larger lighting sets continues at record levels, our research uncovered a requirement for a compact lighting set, particularly where site access was limited, so the introduction of the MT1 into our fleet was an easy decision to make. The MT1 is a robust lighting product that combines economical operation with safe lighting levels, all set into a modestly sized unit.”
Dromad Hire are the only rental firm in Ireland to offer the MT1 for hire on long or short term hire periods. With the compact minimum dimensions of only 111 x 95 x190 cm and weighing-in at a lightweight 352 kg, the MT1 can be swiftly installed on site ready to position instant, bright, lighting, to exactly where it is needed.
For added security, the MT1 is delivered with two adjustable stabilizers and a covered electrical coil cable alongside sturdy, lockable, doors. Loading and unloading is safely carried out via its central lifting hook and hand trolley, with a wide steering angle. Prolonged lighting is guaranteed from a 20-litre metal fuel tank providing over 30-hours of running time on one single tank of fuel. Power is rendered through an integral 5.0 kVA diesel generating set, boasting whisper quiet noise levels at just 68 dBA at 7-metres and there is a handy auxiliary power output socket for powering small tools. The 3000 rpm, Yanmar, air-cooled diesel engine, is fully guarded with a series of alarms to protect the engine.
