AURA LIGHT INTERNATIONAL WINNER OF THE 2015 SEAD GLOBAL EFFICIENCY MEDAL COMPETITION

Aura Light is the international winner of the 2015 SEAD Global Efficiency Medal Competition in the category planar luminaires. The winning product is the LED panel Aura Lunaria.

The Super-efficient Equipment and Appliance Deployment (SEAD) Initiative of the Clean Energy Ministerial launched its fourth Global Efficiency Medal competition on 12 May 2014, recognising highly energy-efficient lighting products. Now the winners have been chosen and Aura Light received the international Global Efficiency Medal in the category planar luminaires and the regional awards for Australia and Europe. The award ceremony took place in Lucerne in Switzerland at the Energy Efficiency in Domestic Appliances and Lighting conference on 26 August.

Simon Taylor, Managing Director of Aura Light UK commented, “We are honoured to receive the 2015 SEAD Global Efficiency Medal. This is a prestigious acknowledgement of our strategic focus on sustainable lighting solutions. This high-quality LED panel creates the right atmosphere and can help to reduce the energy consumption by about 50% depending on the old installation.”
