This week Ridgeons in Peterborough has been marking its 10 year anniversary with a variety of activities for its customers.
Between Monday 4th and Friday 8th September the branch was a hub of product promotions, supplier demonstrations, competitions, giveaways and more.
Peterborough United (‘POSH’) football players, Steven Taylor and Ricky Miller, visited the branch on Thursday 7th September to meet customers, and help to Ridgeons celebrate its first decade in the city. Both players posed for selfies with customers’ children and gave out autographs.
Raffle prizes on offer to customers included a POSH mascot package worth £249, and two Aqualisa showers worth a total of £600. Branch visitors could also take part in a penalty shootout game to win a £50 trade voucher.
Branch manager, John Mortlock, said: “Reaching 10 years is a great landmark for Ridgeons Peterborough and it was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate with the people who matter the most – our customers. The event was the ideal occasion to also introduce people to our new box in box businesses, PlumbStock and ATC.
“We are delighted that the event was such a success. I would like to thank my team for all of their hard work, our suppliers for taking part, Peterborough United, and, of course, our customers for their ongoing loyalty.”
