Surface Design Show opens tonight from 6pm-9pm at the Business Design Centre @surfacethinking

“From the making process to the disposal of goods, the environmental and social impacts of consumption are very Close to Home, inspiring the Surface Spotlight 2020 vision that explores locality and issues of waste in the production chain.”

Highlighting the theme will the centrally located Surface Spotlight Live featuring either British manufacturers/designers or companies from other countries who focus solely on ingredients local to them. A key driver for the theme will be designs that have explored recycling (especially using unexpected ingredients) LINK
