Tensar International Eastern Hemisphere announces 2 major promotions @TensarInsights

Based on his strong contributions to the success of the organisation, since joining Tensar 6 years ago as director of Marketing EMEA, Chris Buchanan has been promoted to Vice President of Commercial Excellence for the Eastern Hemisphere, which also includes the responsibility for Marketing and Business Development. Chris will spearhead the launch of Tensar’s next generation solutions across the Eastern Hemisphere and is the perfect person to deliver an improved customer experience, highlighting the best Tensar can offer, in every way. Chris is very well connected with leading infrastructure decision makers, consultants, contractors, and distribution partners, enabling him to deliver a superior customer experience.

Anna Taylor, who joined Tensar 3½ years ago to create and drive the ‘People’ agenda, has been promoted to Vice President of Human Resources Eastern Hemisphere. Early on Anna launched Tensar’s annual Employee Engagement survey and the Talent Development programme, developed Tensar’s first Mental Health policy and her focus on Diversity and Inclusion has contributed enormously towards making the organisation a better place to work in. Anna is now developing a long-term plan and policy for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, in order that Tensar can be a truly inclusive organisation. Together with Chris Buchanan, Anna developed the first Tensar UK career website.

Based on Anna’s work, Tensar has achieved Gold Standard for employee engagement and was a finalist in the Ground Engineering Awards, North West Employee Engagement (NWEEG), and Northern Powerhouse Women for Diversity and Inclusion. The most recent update is that at the NWEEG Awards the company took home the award for “Disability, Inclusion & Inclusive Recruitment” led by Anna. This is a huge achievement, and Tensar is delighted that Anna and her team have been recognised for their hard work and effort!
