Building Heroes are well known for providing skills training to Military Veterans and support into employment in the construction industry. As part of the Government drive, Building Heroes are supporting Skills Bootcamps; training is offered for free, with flexible courses of up to 16 weeks for adults aged 19 or over.
Whether you are at work, self-employed, recently unemployed or returning to work after a break, and looking to quickly increase your skills, Skills Bootcamp provide a fastrack platform.
The charity based in West Sussex has delivered courses across England with 12 training locations. Predominantly they provide skills and support to Service-leavers, Veterans, and Military families, leading to employment or self-employment. The Construction Skills Bootcamps, however, are open to everyone who meets the eligibility, with limited spaces available.
Karen Jefford, Chief Operations Officer, said: “The past 18 months have been strenuous to all, and many have experienced unemployment. Our Skills Bootcamps are a quick way to secure a job in the construction industry. Whilst our charity specialises in supporting Service-leavers, Veterans and Military families; the Skills Bootcamps are available to career changers and those wanting to get ahead in the industry.”
The Bootcamps are fully funded and provide the chance to gain a level three qualification with guaranteed interview, work experience and access to a range of employment opportunities. The training is available in the South West, South East, London, East Midlands, and East England.
