Graham Campbell joins Solutions By Nature from the watercourses team at Enfield Council. He has worked in partnership with a vast array of public and private sector entities to deliver a multitude of nature-based schemes.
Graham graduated from the University of Southampton with a BSc (Hons) degree in environmental sciences in 2006 and went on to pursue a career in environmental engineering. He found his first role as an engineer within the council’s watercourses team at the London Borough of Enfield, working on projects associated with natural flood management and sustainable drainage, as well as performing Lead Local Flood Authority functions.
Graham has now joined RSK’s Solutions By Nature: a joint venture between engineering firm Binnies and nature-based solutions contractor Salix. Solutions By Nature builds and restores ecosystems by enhancing habitats, working with natural processes to create low-carbon and even carbon-negative solutions that are resilient to the impacts of climate change and that provide long-term financial benefits.
Graham has joined the company as a project manager and will be responsible for managing our wetland and river restoration projects. Key duties will include planning, executing and monitoring projects, driving innovation and efficiencies to exceed client expectations and ensuring health, safety and wellbeing at the heart of all projects.
“I am incredibly excited about starting this new role with Binnies and specifically Solutions By Nature, as it represents an opportunity to develop projects using catchment-based approaches with blue-green infrastructure at their core,” Graham commented. “I am looking forward to engaging with clients and stakeholders in order to achieve positive outcomes.”
