Coelux Win the KIT: Best Architectural Lighting Products – Interior Luminaires Category at the darc awards

CoeLux®, the nano technology based optical system which artificially reproduces natural light and the visual appearance on the sun and sky, has proudly won the KIT: Best Architectural Lighting Products – Interior Luminaires category at the darc awards with their Coelux ST product.

Coelux ST, available in three versions; NAOs, TIVANO and IBLA, is a fairly compact model, suitable for many different settings to create an artificial window facing a luminous sky, traversed by the sun rays. Any room that is deprived of natural light is thoroughly enhanced by Coelux ST.

The most distinctive feature of Coelux ST has out of the Coelux product range is that the sun is not directly visible. Sun rays reach the eye after being reflected, diffused, refracted and diffracted by the louvre.

The darc awards is an innovative concept which utilises the reputation of mondo*arc and darc magazines’ as being the most widely read and respected lighting design publication in the world. With a database of over 1,400 international lighting design practices and, in collaboration with creating consultants Light Collective, darc awards have created a unique opportunity to get every practice involved in the awards process.

The Interior Luminaire category refers to any architectural luminaire designed to be used in a system to illuminate in an indoor environment. Coelux ST qualifies as an actual window rather than a lamp. It reproduces the full depth of the sky, even when the light is extremely dimmed. Coelux ST can represent the experience of a real window as you can change the lighting to achieve a morning, noon, evening and night scenario.
