Many people are yet to see first hand the upgraded design and transformation at London’s most famous cinema, The Odeon Leicester Square.

Having undergone a twenty-first transformation for over a year, completion of the cinema was unveiled earlier this year with a stunning frameless box facade.

Having been recognised for their specialism and sensitive nature of this project, cantifix were appointed to carry out works on this historic and popular landmark.

Charlie Sharman, CEO of Cantifix commented: “In my opinion, this project truly signified that on important design and installation works, value is far more critical than price.

This is the first structural glazing project where consideration for injury during an explosion was included. Our expertise spanning over 30-years and innovative outlook meant we were the preferred choice for this project, and I’m delighted with the results.

Some of the cinema’s original features, which date back some 80-years have now been restored, which does include the glass-fronted cocktail bar, by Cantifix.

About Cantifix:

Cantifix was founded in 1986 by two of its current directors; Charlie and William Sharman. At inception, Cantifix was purely a conservatory business, but it wasn’t long before they found their true calling: innovation.

Cantifix subsequently took on groundbreaking experimental projects, attracting the attention of distinguished architects and earned their place amongst the leading names in specialist glazing. They refused to accept the impossible, leading to their steadfast commitment to new technologies, a passion for excellence, and persistence to find success through pushing the boundaries with what can be achieved with glass.
