Located at 1 – 3 Odessa Wharf in Rotherhithe, at the edge of the city’s financial hub, the development will comprise a collection of 1, 2 and 3-bedroom luxury riverside apartments, with regular connected services to Canary Wharf and on to other key central London areas.
Burwell Deakins Architects specified ALUCOBOND® A2 aluminium rainscreen cladding panels, finished in its naturAL Copper surface, to create a stunning landmark development that defines the project, whilst allowing it to sit sympathetically with the surrounding environment. The non-combustibility of ALUCOBOND® A2, with its mineral-filled core also meeting the strict requirements of fire regulations as well as being impact-resistant, and weatherproof.
In addition, with its sustainability credentials, including an environmental product declaration (EPD) according to international ISO standards, and an independently verified life cycle assessment (LCA), plus BREEAM contribution, ALUCOBOND® A2 is the ideal product given its sustainability credentials.
The ALUCOBOND® A2 cladding was installed by specialist rainscreen cladding contractors Dmitro Facades Limited and fabricated by RCM Fabricators.
