No snags for BeadMaster’s busiest period @BeadMasterUk

Manufacturer of game-changing housebuilder products, BeadMaster, has skimmed straight over its busy period, making a big impression on the construction industry.

BeadMaster has become known for offering a range of innovative products that deliver a perfect finish around sockets, switches, downlights and sprinklers. The range includes: Rectangle, for standard double gang socket and switches, Square, for standard single gang socket and switches, and Circle, for downlights and sprinklers.

The smooth finish is created by stapling the products to the plasterboard, enabling plasterers to skim over socket, switch, downlight and sprinkler holes quickly and easily. The recyclable centre is then removed with a hooked blade, which follows the groove of the cover plate to reveal clean, reinforced edges. In addition to providing a superb result, first time, every time, the products save money and effort for all involved.

Despite the challenges the construction industry has faced as a result of Covid-19, the company has achieved several noteworthy milestones this year, which have been highlighted below.

Willmott Dixon makes BeadMaster mandatory on all projects

Willmott Dixon has made BeadMaster the mandated method for electric switches and sockets on all of its projects.

To ensure that the innovative products are used on all Willmott Dixon projects where a skim coat is specified, the contractor has included the cover plates in its quality manuals for efficient design and installation and workmanship; The Yellow Book: Design and The Yellow Book: Build.

As a result, BeadMaster will be installed throughout Springfields, a £12.5 million supported living development in Leicestershire. The contractor selected the unique products for the development after trialling them at previous projects in their South West division during 2019.

Scheduled to be completed in spring 2021, Springfields will feature BeadMaster’s Square and Rectangle cover plates in all 65 of its one and two-bedroom apartments.

Anthony Chadley, Managing Director, at BeadMaster, said: “We are thrilled to be a part of Springfield’s project and to be providing our unique products, which will help deliver the best results.

“Designed for single and double gang sockets and switches, these products can be plastered straight over, keeping the backbox clean and creating that perfect finish, which is even more sought-after when completing high-quality developments.

“We hope that the project runs as smoothly as possible and look forward to growing our relationship with Springfields and Willmott Dixon as the project progresses.”

BeadMaster extends range with new sizes

BeadMaster has extended its offering with two new products; Circle 62 and Circle 86.

The Circle 62 offers a practical solution for bespoke projects that require smaller downlight and sprinkler holes, as it can be used on holes from 49-62mm. The second new size, the Circle 86, provides a secure cover plate for much larger holes, between 72-86mm.

The complete range, which includes the original Circle 72, allows all holes between 49-72mm to be covered with BeadMaster’s cover plates.

Pete Carter, BeadMaster Inventor, said: “We are delighted to extend the range with two new product sizes as it will enable both new and existing customers to use more of our products on-site, saving additional time and money.

“We are confident that the industry will welcome the new size offerings, especially as we’ve already received interest from customers using our Circle 72 cover plates. We hope our new products are just as popular as our original offering and look forward to receiving feedback.”

Circle 62 and Circle 86 are available now at distributors across the UK and Ireland. For more information on BeadMaster’s new products, please visit: www.beadmaster.co.uk/products-circle.

BeadMaster supports construction industry with 3,000 samples

Over the past five months, BeadMaster has delivered over 3,000 samples to tradespeople, enabling individuals to try out its products for free.

The company shared its innovative products with over 600 plasterers, electricians and self-builders across the UK and Ireland, allowing them to experience the benefits of its products first-hand.

The feedback received has been extremely positive; both plastering and electrical companies are now purchasing a range of products through their local distributors to use on future projects.

The finder offers an easier way to find out which local distributors can order in BeadMaster products, as well as those that already have stock.

BeadMaster is directing all of its customers here to help make the purchasing journey smoother; over 300 people have used the new tool since its launch at the start of August.
