Originally named Britannic House, Citypoint was built in 1967 as a 35 storey, 122 metres tall headquarters for British Petroleum (BP). This impressive 600,000 sq.ft building was acquired by Brookfield in December 2016.

FUTURE Designs was introduced to work alongside BDG Architecture + Design to develop a solution that would complement the exposed ceilings.

The linear VANE fitting is consistent across the open plan working area, punctuated with the circular HALO to break the pattern whilst enhancing the street presence of the building.

BEEM, which is a standard downlight product has been adapted to integrate with the black, wire mesh, feature ceiling.

Martin Wallice, head of leasing at Brookfield said:

“Brookfield has refurbished and rejuvenated this impressive building and the lighting provided by the team at FUTURE Designs has been an integral part of transforming the space to now meet the demands of the modern occupier.”
