Offshore consultancy, Gavin & Doherty Geosolutions (GDG), has announced it is officially open for business in the United States, to support the offshore wind market with specialist geotechnical solutions and design services.
Having recently incorporated GDG Inc. and established an office presence in Providence, Rhode Island, the USA activities will be led by Dr. Jan Mangal, who joins GDG with 20 years’ experience in the energy sector, to deliver a high-end range of consultancy services for offshore wind projects across the United States. Under Jan’s leadership, GDG Inc. will building a local team of engineers, scientists and project managers, to engage with the offshore wind industry.
