RSK group company Nicholas O’Dwyer is thrilled to announce its silver Investors in Diversity accreditation from the Irish Centre for Diversity (ICD).
Investors in Diversity is Ireland’s only diversity and inclusion performance accreditation mark for businesses that recognise and effectively manage people’s different skills, abilities, experiences, perspectives, backgrounds, needs, issues, barriers, families and personal circumstances.
The silver accolade shows that the business has been benchmarked against other bodies and has embedded diversity and inclusion practices throughout the organisation and developed and fostered a sense of fairness and belonging among colleagues.
It gives a positive message to all stakeholders, internal and external, and each person should be congratulated for their input into the success of the organisation.
Nicholas O’Dwyer was awarded bronze status in June last year and is elated to have now achieved silver status, which will remain valid for two years. The company already has its sights on moving to gold status in the future.
Emer Donnelly, who has been praised for her stellar work in promoting and educating the business on this journey, said, “We’re thrilled to have achieved this significant milestone as we continue to raise awareness of the benefits of a diverse and inclusive workplace: one in which everyone feels respected and valued for the skills and differences they bring to the workplace.
“Personally, I have found it very rewarding to see the conversation around equality and inclusivity becoming far more commonplace and featuring regularly in our meetings, presentations and office communications. It’s this openness in questioning and discussing the status quo that I believe will see us move towards gold accreditation with the ICD in the not-too-distant future.”
