BDA Webinar – 1 March 2023: Carbon Challenges for BDA Members

The next British Drilling Association (BDA) webinar is planned for 1st March 2023, at 1pm, and will discuss the important topic of “Carbon Challenges for BDA Members”.

Being presented via Teams, by Rob Allison, Auditel (U.K.) Limited, one of the UK’s leading cost, procurement, and carbon solutions provider, the webinar will take attendees through every aspect of carbon reduction.

Specifically, with an increasing focus from all sectors on carbon accounting and reporting, this 45-minute webinar will begin to explore the real-life challenges faced by BDA members in this area. In particular it will look to provide further insight into the difference between reporting operational carbon emissions from the delivery of ground investigation services, compared to reporting embodied carbon often associated with the build and construction sector.

The webinar will also explore the importance of defining your own operational boundaries in carbon accounting and how they might apply for ground investigation services. The presentation will also explore if becoming a “verified carbon neutral” service provider could be a solution in an otherwise confused sector.

Rob will be joined by Julie Adams and Mark Miller, also of Auditel, for the short Q&A session that will follow the main presentation.
