Industry leading surface preparation expert, National Flooring Equipment, has collaborated with Sunbelt Rentals to supply floor removal equipment in the UK. Sunbelt Rentals is a global leader in equipment rental, but has not branched out into floor removal until now. The business, which has over 200 depots nationwide, will offer National Flooring Equipment’s full range of scraper technology and tooling and is currently the only place in the UK where you can rent a Rogue Walk-Behind Scraper.
The Rogue is designed to combine the features of a heavy-duty ride-on scraper with the compact size of a walk-behind. Offering precision steering and fully adjustable blade angles means that the Rogue is suitable for both hard and soft floor removal and is the first of its kind. The partnership with Sunbelt Rentals means that there are now nine Rogue’s available for UK customers to rent across its three sites.
Other walk behind scrapers that will be available include the 550 and 5280, both of which are perfect for tight, confined spaces and residential work due to their more compact designs. The 5280 is CE marked and great at removing soft flooring such as glued-down floors, gummy commercial carpet, and sheet vinyl.
To ensure that customers have access to machines suitable for a range of applications, Sunbelt Rentals will also offer the 5700 and 8000 ride on scrapers. As National Flooring Equipment’s best seller in the US, due to its versatility from residential to commercial applications, the 5700 will be a valued addition to the UK market. The 8000 is a propane fuelled ride on scraper and is the largest of the fleet.
