Already confirmed to exhibit in The Stone Knowledge Hub are: A F Jones Interiors, Albion Stone, Arcturus Stone, Burlington Stone, Hutton Stone Co., Stamford Stone Co., and Welsh Slate.

This mix of UK and international stone suppliers and stonemasonry and fabrication experts will give you a fantastic snapshot into what Stone Federation and its members can provide for your projects.

Matt Robb, Marketing & Media Manager, Stone Federation Great Britain, says:

“Stone Federation is delighted be returning to the Surface Design Show for 9th year running.  The 2025 show will see a fresh expression of the hugely popular Stone Tapestry and the return of the Stone Knowledge Hub.

Both these areas will help connect architects and designers with the beauty, versatility and sustainability of natural stone and provide them with the inspiration and information required to deliver stunning natural stone projects. The Surface Design Show has always been a fantastic event for the Federation and our members, this year is shaping up to be perhaps, the best one yet.”

The Stone Tapestry

The Stone Tapestry is a unique natural stone showcase designed by leading architectural practice, Squire & Partners in collaboration with Stone Federation, the trade association for the natural stone industry.

This year’s version of The Stone Tapestry celebrates the versatility of natural stone, exploring the wealth of tones and textures available from nature, expressed in hexagonal form, pulling on nature’s own creation, The Giant’s Causeway.

Natural stone is just at home delivering large internal cladding and flooring as it is delivering unique stone furniture and works of stone art.  The Stone Tapestry aims to inspire Surface Design Show visitors to explore the full potential of this beautiful natural material.

The Stone Tapestry is also seeking to shine a light on the UK’s own indigenous materials as well exploring stones from Europe.  It aims to demonstrate to interior designers and architects that the variety of colours and textures available close to home removes the requirement to specify materials travelling many thousands of miles across the world.

The piece is a truly collaborative effort featuring the expertise and materials of a host of companies including Albion Stone, ALS by Airelimestones, Britannicus Stone, Burlington Stone, LSI Stone, Stamford Stone Co., The Marble Collective, Welsh Slate.
