KI, the trusted expert for contract furniture solutions, is proud to introduce the Postura+ One Piece Stool. This highly practical, sleek and sustainable design is an invaluable addition to its Postura+ seating range, which has been used by countless students worldwide.
This is the first time the Postura+ one piece design has been extended since its launch in 1996. As the name suggests and, following on from the success of the Postura+ One Piece Chair.
Created using injection moulding tooling, which represents significant investment into KI’s UK manufacturing base, the One Piece Stool provides an innovative material alternative to the existing mixed material stools in the Postura+ range, which have metal legs in multiple variations. As well as providing additional strength, the glass filled polypropylene allows for slender legs, which in turn elevates the stool creating a seamless, uninterrupted finish.
The stool has a wealth of practical properties: it is stain resistant, antistatic, easy to clean, and features a non-marking, built-in glide for non-slip floors. The lightweight, one piece design means it can be stacked up to five high.
The One Piece Stool comes in both a low back and high back version, with 3 height options; 560mm, 610mm, 685mm (from the floor to the seat.) The high back version features a windowed backrest for ventilation and comfort.
This new range will initially be available and stocked in the Postura+ achromatic colour range: Iron grey, Slate grey, Ash grey and Jet black, with the rest of the 16 colours from the range being available on varied lead times.
The Postura+ One Piece Stool has a 20-year warranty carrying on KI’s legacy of making quality products that last. The design is certified Indoor Advantage Gold, the highest level of indoor air quality performance for furniture, and tested by SCS Global Services, a third-party environmental certification body. In terms of sustainability, all the Postura+ seating range contains a minimum of 30% recycled polypropylene and is 100% recyclable.
