LONDON’S PREMIER INDEPENDENT THAMES-SIDE VENUE, THE LINE, ANNOUNCES RELAUNCH AND UNVEILS NEW ‘SKYLINE’ SPACE
The Line, formerly known as 58VE, has announced its official relaunch, marking the start of a new chapter for the premier independent Thames-side venue.
The relaunch is led by the debut of the Skyline, a stunning new flagship space designed as the interaction between world-class views and a human-centric atmosphere. The sleek and contemporary seventh-floor room wrapped in floor-to-ceiling glass, offers panoramic views across the Thames. Equipped with built-in technology, two private balconies, and its own bar and kitchen, the space is highly versatile, accommodating up to 200 guests for receptions or 120 for seated dinners.

The new extended portfolio also features the Highline, a year-round reception space featuring a 180-degree view and a spacious roof terrace, and the Waterline, a flexible ground-floor space that can be divided into boardrooms or larger receptions of up to 200. To complement these spaces, The Line has partnered with Certified B Corp caterer Fika, ensuring the range of food and beverage on offer aligns with the venue’s ethos.
“This relaunch is about positioning The Line as a leading destination for events, celebrations and brand partnerships. We’ve focused on creating a versatile, high-quality space that works for everyone, while ensuring sustainability is at the core of the design solutions. Our goal is to deliver a reliable, premium experience and build a world class service that keeps clients coming back.” Claire Hill, venue General Manager
The Skyline was designed by multi-disciplinary design studio and consulting agency ForEveryday.Life. With a focus on simple, flexible layouts that could take advantage of the incredible view and natural light whilst also being quickly adapted with curtains to create presentation spaces allowing clients control over lighting and acoustics. The result is a space that feels welcoming, with an emphasis on connection both visually and functionally between indoor and outdoor areas as well as between digital and in-person presentations.
“The materials and finishes intentionally reference the location on Victoria Embankment delivering a timeless interior that has become a seamless and sophisticated extension of the building fabric.” Colin Macgadie, Founding Director at ForEveryday.Life.
Situated by London’s Blackfriars station, the venue is easily accessible by tube, Southeastern Railway and Thameslink trains and marks the boundary between the City’s financial district and the West End’s entertainment hub.
