Leading workplace consultant, Saracen Interiors has completed office move and facilities management projects for its long-term client, CH2M Hill. Having worked for the leading global environmental services provider for over a decade, carrying out fit outs and small works across the company’s UK commercial property portfolio, this latest work reflects Saracen’s full service offering and is indicative of its clients growing preference to use all of its services.
Saracen recently supported CH2M Hill in a move at the company’s head office address at Elm’s House London, with items moved from the fourth and fifth floors and reaccomodated on the first floor of the building. The space planning and design expert installed new partitioning, doors and access control and took care of general redecoration and new corporate signage in the reception area. The company has also been awarded a six month rolling facilities management contract to oversee the full refurbishment of the two passenger lifts and one goods lift in the building.
At the other end of the country, Saracen recently replaced all HVAC services for CH2M Hill at its offices in the Tees Valley. Handled by the company’s Wakefield-based Northern office, this recent project follows on from a series of projects, covering a range of design and build work, from fit outs to dilapidations and minor refurbishments, on behalf of this client.
Joint managing director of Saracen Interiors, Michael Page is delighted to work with CH2M Hill at a range of the client’s addresses around the UK: “This client has played a critical role in our positioning as a national concern thanks to the plethora of projects it has awarded us in recent years. CH2M Hill has consistently given us a full and varied range of projects to complete, tempting us out of our comfort zone and encouraging us to expand our geographical footprint, resulting in us officially launching ourselves in the North early last year.
”We’ve won a lot of new projects for new clients thanks to the quality of the work that we’ve delivered for CH2M Hill and it’s been a pleasure to partner with them over the years. Our team has become like an extension of their team and we look forward to continuing to do great work with them going forward.”
As accomplished workplace specialists, Saracen’s team is sympathetic to the needs of its commercial clients and is adept at finding solutions that best maximise the use of space for a work environment, while meeting each company’s individual requirements. It is practised in accommodating existing tenants to reduce any impact on its clients’ day-to-day business and works with the shared goal of creating the best, most welcoming environment for the client.
