Property investment and development company, Town Centre Securities (TCS) has completed the new-build Waitrose store in Milngavie.
The project has been completed in partnership with former West of Scotland Football Club and includes the completion of an all-weather rugby pitch for the club.
The 36,000 sq ft store has been built by McLaughlin & Harvey (formerly Barr Construction) and includes improved traffic, drainage and flood management.
Speaking about the development, Richard Lewis, property director of Town Centre Securities PLC, said: “Our development of the Waitrose Milngavie store is a superb example of excellence in design construction and collaboration between TCS, Waitrose, West of Scotland Football Club, McLaughlin & Harvey and East Dunbartonshire Council, in order to bring about a considerable benefit to the local community. “
TCS also owns the building where Waitrose trades on Byres Road, Glasgow and has assets of over £300 million and £60 million worth of investments in Scotland .
