The Berkeley Group have accepted Kawneer as a supply chain partner.
Following an extensive review process, leading architectural aluminium systems supplier Kawneer has been accepted onto the supply chain of the award-winning house builders the Berkeley Group.
The UK manufacturer has now been given the opportunity to work with the FTSE 250 group, which builds high specification homes and neighbourhoods in London and the South East, through five autonomous companies – St George, St James, St William and St Edward as well as Berkeley.
Due to celebrate its 40th anniversary next year, the Berkeley Group was voted Britain’s Most Admired Company across all industries in 2011 and House Builder of the Year from 2010 to 2012. In 2014, it won the Queens Award for Enterprise.
The group has also come top of the Next Generation benchmark for the past eight years which ranks the UK’s 25 biggest house builders on sustainability, itself a key offering from Kawneer.
Kawneer will provide the Berkeley Group with comprehensive design support, training, inspections and warranties for the supply of curtain walling, window, door and unitised systems, from conception to completion and beyond through its extensive range of approved fabricators.
