AUDATEX APPOINTS SARACEN TO CREATE DYNAMIC NEW WORKPLACE

Modern, energy efficient ‘centre of excellence’ to drive future innovation for the benefit of insurers and bodyshops

Audatex, a global leader in the provision of risk and asset management software and services, has chosen leading workplace consultant, Saracen Interiors, to revamp its offices in Theale, Reading. The project reflects Audatex’s commitment to ensuring its team of connected technology experts continue to be at the forefront of product and service innovation, whilst remaining focused on delivering  customer service excellence.

Following an initial workplace assessment, Saracen has been appointed to completely strip and refit 10,000 square metres of commercial space, including mechanical and electrical services.  The result will see the Audatex office transformed into a more agile, open plan work environment, whilst creating a showcase for it to welcome insurers and bodyshops and demonstrate its cutting edge technology solutions.

The refurbishment is being undertaken in phased stages to ensure the 112-strong Audatex team continues to operate as ‘business as usual’ for customers.  Due for completion in January, the project meets a number of green initiatives including the installation of LED lighting and a new air-conditioning system, for a cleaner, more energy efficient working environment.  Saracen will also oversee the landscaping around the building, to create a fresh, welcoming look for staff and visitors.

Nicola Mascard, Operations Director of Audatex comments, “As a dynamic technology company, it is vital we remain focused on enabling our teams to collaborate and innovate and this refit recognises that need.  Saracen offers us the expertise to create the highest level of specification for our offices, harnessing the latest technology to build not only a stimulating and contemporary workplace for employees, but a centre of excellence for customers, prospects and partners to benefit from.”

Joint managing director of Saracen Interiors, Michael Page is delighted to add Audatex to the company’s illustrious portfolio: “The project was won at competitive tender and we spent a lot of time, in the early planning stages, ensuring that we could present to the client the most effective use of space, incorporating all the requested features.

“We’re now looking forward to beginning work and are confident that Audatex’s team, including all end-users, will be extremely happy with the final result.”
