Origin is one of only six UK companies to offer this motor on its system, and is the only bi-folding door manufacturer to include this technology for blinds designed specifically for bi-folding doors.
The advanced technology of the motor means that Origin’s popular blinds range can now be controlled and operated using a tablet, smartphone or connected to a home automated system. This can then be programmed to open and close at different times, for additional security and to reduce heat loss throughout the home. The motor also runs on a sophisticated electronic drive system for near silent operation. Manufactured in the UK, the Origin Electric Roller Blinds are sleek and contemporary in design, with lightweightpanels that do not overlap. Each blind is tailor-made, enabling control of light and heat. 
The Origin blinds can be specified either with or without a fascia. For those that choose a fascia, this can be ordered in any colour to match the style of the room, bi-fold door or window. The electric roller blinds can also be installed in two different ways, either top or face mounted. This allows the blinds to be installed either inside or outside the recess. Depending on the stage of construction, the blind can also be completely hidden in the reveal, giving the illusion that the blinds descend from the ceiling.
