Saracen Interiors has started work for vehicle registration search and technical data supplier, Carweb, at the company’s new offices in Tonbridge, Kent. The full fit out follows on from a project that the leading workplace consultant completed for sister company, motor claims processing expert, Audatex at the beginning of this year and is expected to take just six weeks to complete.
Valued at £200,000 and covering approximately 4000 square feet of commercial space, the fit out started in August and has been undertaken as a fast track project to enable Carweb’s team to move into the offices as soon as possible.
The full project includes the installation of six metre partitioning and LED lighting; the relocation of air conditioning systems to complement the new layout; alterations to power and data; the fitting of new flooring and a suspended ceiling; the construction of a new toilet block to accommodate all staff and to allow for future team expansion; the supply of all furniture and the installation of electric vehicle charge points.
Joint managing director of Saracen Interiors, Michael Page is delighted to build on existing good relations and to add Carweb to the portfolio: “We managed to strike a really good working rapport with the team at Audatex and we’re pleased to have been recommended on the strength of our attention to detail and high level of customer service. Our aim is to develop a keen understanding of each customer’s needs and priorities and to regulate our working practice accordingly so that we are in step together. We are now looking forward to delivering for Carweb and further demonstrating our expertise.”
Over the past decade, Saracen’s status has gradually changed from a South East fit out concern to a national full service enterprise. Its number of staff has grown along with its turnover and the company continues to invest in local apprentices, training initiatives and industry-specific innovations such as BIM.
