SARACEN CONTINUES TO ADD TO ITS PORTFOLIO OF WORK FOR YUM!

Saracen Interiors has completed works for Yum Restaurants International at the fast food company’s UK headquarters in Woking, Surrey. The leading workplace consultant has worked with the owner of subsidiaries, KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell, for over thirteen years, developing its relationship with Yum! to provide a one stop shop of small works at various premises in the company’s property portfolio.

Recent works at Yum!’s Surrey offices included HVAC alterations and modifications; the installation of five suspended acoustic ceiling rafts, feature pendant lights and LED spot lights; power and data works; carpet repair works and decoration of all meeting rooms. The fast-track project was finished within a fortnight, with the majority of work completed out of office hours to ensure minimum disruption for the Yum! team.

In recent years, Saracen has undertaken a broad spectrum of work for Yum! around the UK including fit out projects, office moves and churn, the sourcing and installation of furniture, power and data installations, garden and car park maintenance, gutter cleaning and external building pressure cleaning, along with general interior and exterior building repair work.

Amanda Bellia, facilities manager for Yum Restaurants International, comments: “Our relationship with Saracen has gone from strength to strength and we value the fast delivery and smooth handover that have become the key characteristics of their work for us. There are never any complications and there is minimum disruption when the team at Saracen is on site; we value the courtesy and consideration that they extend to all of our staff.”

Joint managing director of Saracen Interiors, Michael Page is delighted that the company continues to maintain and grow the relationship with Yum!: “Each individual who works with Yum! has made every effort to get to know the workings of the company, and how best to accommodate its needs, in order to maintain the high standard of delivery that has been achieved for this client over the years. We’ve reached a good level of understanding in terms of how Yum! operates and our aim is to support its employees by consistently providing them with the best workplace environment.”

Over the past decade, Saracen’s status has gradually changed from a South East fit out concern to a national full service enterprise. Its number of staff has grown along with its turnover and the company continues to invest in local apprentices, training initiatives and industry-specific innovations such as BIM. Saracen Small Works has demonstrated significant growth since its launch almost five years ago, enjoying an average 85 per cent repeat business.
