SARACEN LEAVES SOUTHERN HAIRDRESSING CHAIN NEAT AND TIDY

Workplace consultant, Saracen Interiors has completed  a fast-track fit out project for hairdressing chain, Forresters at its salon in Tilehurst. The £30,000 project was undertaken by Saracen Small Works and was finished in a record nine days, with minimum disruption to staff and customers.

Works included the removal of old fixtures, furniture and flooring; the fitting of new ceramic floor tiles, bespoke cupboards for storage, display shelving and partitioning; the installation of LED lighting panels and plumbing works for new wash basins and a tea point; and painting and decorating to refresh the interiors throughout.

Owner and director of Forresters, John Forrester comments: “We didn’t consider any other fit out expert once we had met with Saracen’s project consultant. It was clear that he and the rest of the team understood, and would best interpret, our vision. They delivered it in, what turned out to be, record time while considering our budget constraints and our concerns regarding any potential lost business. In short, the team worked incredibly hard to ensure that the project was a great success and we’re delighted with the outcome.”

Joint managing director of Saracen Interiors, Michael Page adds: “Our Small Works division has gone from strength to strength in the last few years and it’s great to see so many new names regularly added to the roster. We have adopted a policy that every job is of equal importance, regardless of size, and this ethos is integral to how we work and is shared by every member of staff. As a result, the team is sympathetic to the needs of all clients and is adept at identifying and understanding potential issues on each and every project.”

Launched by Saracen almost five years ago to oversee smaller projects, Saracen Small Works has enjoyed great success with popular services including smaller design and build projects, alterations to existing space, re-decoration, modifications to power and data, general upgrading and updating, relocation of staff, furniture and work stations and the sourcing and supplying of new furniture. The division has demonstrated significant growth since its inception, enjoying an average 85 per cent repeat business.
