Construction plant specialists at Selwood supplied a specially-modified Hyundai excavator to groundworks contractor Tanner & Bruce.
Tanner & Bruce, based in South Devon, asked Selwood’s plant sales teams to supply a machine suitable for the task of carrying large boulders.
John Knight of Selwood plant worked closely with Jim Bruce, director of Tanner & Bruce, to arrange modifications to the dipper arm of the new Hyundai R35.
John, who has more than 50 years of experience with Selwood’s plant sales division, said: “It is not unusual in the construction industry for machines to be specially adapted to suit bespoke applications.
“Tanner & Bruce have been established over many years, and know plant and machinery only too well, so we knew we needed to provide an innovative solution to their needs.
