The drive to ban greenhouse gases in air-conditioning equipment has provided the majority of air conditioning manufacturers the drive to develop products using alternative technology to improve performance, and Hitachi is no exception.
Hitachi is pleased to announce its latest RAC products for 2017, which includes its first R32 Summit range.
Summit
The new R32 Summit wall mount uses environmentally-friendly R32 refrigerant and comprises 4 units ranging from 1.8kW to 5.0kW, and is an economical solution for the European market. Designed with the installer in mind, there is easy access to the piping connections for quicker installation and maintenance. The discreet design and extremely low noise levels make Summit ideal for every home environment. High heating capacities at even low temperatures ensure optimal comfort all year round.
The Performance and S-Series ranges have also been updated for 2017.
Performance Wall Mount
The R410A Performance range has been refreshed with three new models – 1.5kW, 1.8kW and 2.5kW. The new design incorporates Hitachi’s ‘4 Way Swing’ function, which combines vertical and horizontal airflow to maintain a constant room temperature.
S-Series Wall Mount
Hitachi’s new R410A S-Series range with infrared remote control is one of the best models on the market; with high SEER rating of A+++ and SCOP of A++ high energy savings are guaranteed. Hitachi’s ‘Constant Power’ maintains heating capacity at temperatures as low as -15oC, while an eco sensor detects activity within the room to eliminate energy wastage.
Wifi control with Hi-Kumo
Hitachi’s simple, intuitive Hi-Kumo application allows users to control and overview their air conditioning installation from anywhere in the world, with exclusive features such as a weekly timer wizard, smart tip and ‘leave home’ settings. Available for smartphone and tablet, Hi-Kumo is compatible with Hitachi’s full residential product range.
