Hilson Moran strengthens its acoustics expertise with new senior appointment @HilsonMoran

Hilson Moran has appointed a new associate consultant, Laurence Evans, to its acoustics team. Laurence will lead the acoustics team in the Farnborough office, working alongside Jon Willmott, who directs the acoustics team nationally from its Manchester office.

Laurence has over 12 years’ experience in the private sector working on high-end projects for clients such as Native Land, Greycoat Real Estate and Stanhope. For the latter, he worked as lead acoustic consultant on Elwick Place in Ashford, a development on a vacant brownfield site comprising two residential building blocks, a six screen 950-seat cinema, a 60-bed family hotel and eight restaurant and café units.

At Hilson Moran, Laurence will be leading on the delivery of detailed, coordinated design and mitigation advice to architects, planners and engineers throughout all stages of the project life cycle, from initial concept, planning and design, to the final commissioning. He will also be responsible for winning new business.

Jon Willmott, Head of Hilson Moran’s acoustics team, comments on Laurence’s appointment: “As a MIOA and CMCIEH qualified acoustician, Laurence brings his expertise in delivering complex industrial and mixed-use developments to the Farnborough team. He will be an invaluable asset, assisting not only his team but the wider consultancy as it continues to strengthen its prominence in the acoustics field.”
