National house builder Bovis Homes has announced the opening of a new regional headquarters at Chineham Park, Basingstoke.
The company’s recently formed Southern Counties region, which covers sites across Hampshire, Wiltshire, and Berkshire, has relocated to the Central 40 building at the business park, in a move which places it at the geographical heart of the region.
With plans to build approximately 650 homes in 2018, the new offices will serve as home to Bovis Homes’ various teams who support its construction sites, including technical, commercial and marketing and customer care departments.
“We’re pleased to be settled into our new home at Chineham Park,” says James Dunne, regional managing director of Bovis Homes Southern Counties region.
“The location is ideal for us, offering excellent access to the transport network and enabling us to provide the specialist support and advice our site-based build and sales teams need,” he adds.
“With a strong focus on delivering much-needed homes across Hampshire, Wiltshire and the Thames Valley, we are now well positioned in modern offices, designed to offer the collaborative workspace we require.”
The region’s locations include Shinfield Meadows near Reading, Longhedge Village in Salisbury and Nightingale View, just a short distance from the new offices in Basingstoke.
“We are delighted to welcome Bovis Homes to Chineham Park,” explains Wendy Scott, Chineham Park’s customer manager. “The park is superbly connected by road and rail, offering quick and easy access to all of the South East. As well as a highly convenient location, we offer dedicated, on-site management for all our customers, allowing us to sustain a first-class working environment.”
Bovis Homes’ Southern Counties region was previously based at Thames Valley Park in Reading, an office which is still retained as home of the company’s dedicated national training centre.
