International legal practice Osborne Clarke has advised national developer and urban regeneration company St. Modwen on a promotion and development agreement for the Tortworth Estate’s Buckover Garden Village, a planned 3,000-home exemplar new community in South Gloucestershire.
St. Modwen, in partnership with the Tortworth Estate, will now promote the site through the planning process and if successful the development will run for 10 to 20 years and is likely to comprise a mix of housing and employment uses, alongside a range of health, education and community facilities, as well as transport and communications infrastructure, retail provision and green open spaces.
The Osborne Clarke real estate team who advised on the matter was led by Partner David Powell who was assisted by associate Julia Jolley and Partner Tracey Wright on tax matters.
