Site managers working for local housebuilder, Barratt Developments Yorkshire West, which includes both the Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes brands, have scooped two prestigious awards in a national competition to find the best-run building sites in Britain.
This includes the Ricky Booth, Senior Site Manager at Barratt Homes’ Ashmeade Park development in Pontefract and Andrew Briddock, Senior Site Manager at St Oswald’s View in Methley, who both gained official recognition with a Pride in the Job Award for the excellent standards on the site.
Both Senior Site Manager’s are supported by brilliant site teams, including Assistant Site Manager Matthew Eccles, based at Ashmeade Park and David Kirkby, the Assistant Site Manager at St Oswald’s View.

The Pride in the Job Quality Awards are the most coveted in the housebuilding industry and have been instrumental in driving standards for 38 years. They are awarded after the construction standard setting body, the NHBC, carries out a series of spot check site inspections to select the best-organised and best-quality housing developments.
This award comes on the back of Barratt Developments being awarded five stars by the Home Builders Federation (HBF) for customer satisfaction. Barratt is the only major national housebuilder to be ranked as five star by the HBF for the last nine years.
