Dewey Training, one of the UK’s leading construction recruitment consultancies is pleased to announce it has become a CITB Approved Training Organisation (ATO).
Gaining CITB Approved Training Organisation status means Dewey Training is now recognised by the CITB, as well as the British construction industry, as a provider of high-quality training that meets all necessary industry approved standards.
With the CITB having this year [2018] created a list of training standards; now an individual’s skills are transferable across the construction industry in Great Britain as long as the training has been undertaken with an ATO training provider. It also means that individual’s, on successful completion of an applicable course, will now have their details uploaded onto the Construction Training Register, thereby triggering the automated grant process and speeding the payment process as well as removing the need for employers to complete lengthy paperwork.
Managing Director William Berridge said: “Being an ATO provider not only endorses the quality of the training Dewey Training provides, but also highlight’s its commitment to providing the training courses the construction sector and its employees want. It also brings many advantages to both the individuals, through them receiving fully transferrable skills and employers, now having much less paperwork to deal with.”
