BAUHU LAUNCHES NEW RANGE OF LUXURIOUS, ENVIRONMENTALLY CONSCIOUS MODULAR HOMES FOR THE HURRICANE-PRONE CARIBBEAN
Bauhu has launched an unique new range of pre-fabricated, modular homes, which combine classic Caribbean colonial architecture for utterly stylish living with cutting-edge construction techniques and innovative materials – all designed to be hurricane resistant, with substantial cost savings and no compromise on standard of living.
Working with its team of experienced architects, the Caribbean Cottage Collection offers high standard, contemporary living at a fraction of the price of traditional building methods. Each designer home in the four-piece, modular collection is a smart, sustainable solution for remote locations where access to mainstream building materials is limited and construction windows unfeasibly long.
Bauhu’s ‘out of the box’ homes aren’t just beautifully designed with an abundance of attractive colonial features and modern luxuries, they’re also precision engineered with a light steel structural frame in a factory using technologically advanced materials for increased energy efficiency. Hurricane resistant with impact resistant windows, each luxurious Bauhu modular home can withstand 250KPH winds and offer fire resistance for up to two hours.
100% of the materials used in construction are recyclable and a zero-waste approach is used throughout the manufacturing process.
Built upon a concrete base, owners can choose from a series of stunning designs crafted for five-star living to exacting standards of luxury and convenience. Palm Cottage is a traditional two or three-bedroom home exuding Caribbean flair, with en-suites throughout, an open-plan living space, fully fitted kitchen diner and a shaded porch which runs the full width of the house. There’s also an ingenious mezzanine floor option, which can be used as a further bedroom.
With its classic colonial design, Palmetto Cottage, priced from only $53,000 ex factory is a perfectly proportioned home in paradise, with stylish accommodation, an en-suite master bedroom, open-plan living and a mezzanine ‘room in the roof’ option for those needing two-bedrooms or additional space for a den or office.
With the hurricane-resistant steel frame wall panel system manufactured and pre-assembled in the state of the art Bauhu factory, customers can focus on personalising their new home -There’s a range of twenty utterly modern kitchen styles to choose from and a choice of colours and finishes for the interior. We’re also extremely proud of our modular homes and the low impact they have on their natural environment during the manufacturing and build process. Our patented, insulated light steel frame construction system means cost certainty, functionality and performance is assured, cutting-edge energy saving techniques guarantee low running costs while premium fixtures and fittings mean five-star island living is within reach.”
To make life even easier, Bauhu also provide all the plans needed to obtain building permits and prepare the site, arrange international delivery and assemble the new home – a process which takes just four weeks.
