Bluebay Building Products – one of the UK’s leading independent distributors of specialist civil engineering and construction products – has announced the launch of its new corporate social responsibility programme, SPARK, which will shape the company’s community and charitable work for 2026 and beyond.
The initiative – which stands for Supporting People and Regional Kindness – will see Bluebay support several charities across the UK, each of them suggested by Bluebay colleagues. Under SPARK, all Bluebay colleagues will also receive paid volunteering leave each year, giving them the opportunity to directly support causes close to their hearts and make a difference in their local communities.
Speaking about the launch, Lucy Furnival, Managing Director of Bluebay, said: “2025 has been an incredible year of growth for Bluebay. We started the year by joining the Wolseley Group, expanded our senior leadership team, opened our fifth depot – and are on the cusp of opening our sixth too.

“Although we have long supported local, great causes alongside our work, now felt like the right time to formalise our charitable commitments with this programme. It will empower our team – helping them go further than the great work they do every day by giving their time and skills to help others. We’re proud to be partnering with such meaningful organisations, and we look forward to expanding those partnerships throughout 2026.”
The chosen charities span regions where Bluebay operates its depots across England, with a focus on organisations that provide vital support to people facing hardship, health challenges, or disadvantage.
Concluded Lucy: “The SPARK programme marks an important step in Bluebay’s ongoing commitment to social value, ensuring that as the company grows, it continues to make a tangible difference in the places where its people live and work.”
