A premium range of windows and doors that is future-proof to 2019 has been enhanced with the addition of a pivot window by leading architectural aluminium systems supplier Kawneer.
The AA®720 pivot window comprises horizontal or vertical options, with the latter available offset for even greater design flexibility, regardless of its application in residential, healthcare, education, commercial or retail/leisure projects.
A pivot window has been added to Kawneer’s AA®720 range.
The 72mm wide insulated multi-chamber profiles incorporating Kawneer’s unique Reflex thermal break technology, multi-chambered EPDM centre seals and polyethylene foam profile around the glazing rebate, enable U values of 1.4 W/m2K to be achieved*.
Panel weights up to 150kg (horizontal) and 110kg (vertical) can accommodate triple and acoustic glazing up to 56mm – the thickest in its class, whilst trickle ventilation provides a cost-effective solution for natural ventilation strategies.
Compatible with Kawneer’s AA®100 and AA®110 curtain wall systems, with 50mm and 65mm sightlines respectively, the new AA®720 pivot window offers excellent weather performance in terms of air permeability, watertightness and wind resistance.
The AA®720 series already comprises a tilturn, inward-opening side-hung, bottom-hung and top-hung casement, inward and outward-opening doors, folding/sliding door and a fire-rated door and fixed light.
Kawneer’s most comprehensively flexible product range to date, and with U-values as low as 0.9 W/m²K**, it is set to outperform the anticipated requirements of the 2016 Part L amendments to Building Regulations.
